Closed June 18 - August 18. Leave the monotony of the sealed road and visit Butlers Beach, Hillocks Drive. Experience the magic of 7km of scenic, rugged coastline, interspersed with sandy coves. Fish for mullet, mulloway etc. from the beaches and rocks. Snorkel in the quieter waters. Swim, walk, explore this spectacular coastline. Pockets of mallee scrub and ti-tree provide secluded campsites for tents and vans. A small shop, a new toilet block close to the homestead, (1km from Butlers Beach) a cluster of well-loved vans is as close as this area gets to a conventional tourist development.
