The Gladstone Caravan Park provides a quiet, informal relaxed environment amongst the trees of Tresylva Park. Catering almost exclusively to tourists, the Park has a large camp kitchen BBQ, spacious amenities grassed tent sites. In addition to powered sites, two air-conditioned on-site vans a two bedroom, en-suite cabin are available. Motorhomes are welcome. In summer the adjacent swimming pool is open Park guests are welcome. The Golf Course is open to visitors during the winter months.

Gladstone Has featured prominently in the rural history of South Australia. Once the majrailway junction in the mid-north it is now the location of the largest inland grain receival facility in the Southern Hemisphere. A walk around the town provides much evidence of this fascinating past. Both Self-guided guided walking tours featuring many examples of fine old sandstone homes commercial buildings are available to visitors. The historic Gladstone Gaol, opened in 1881 closed in 1975 is now a key tourist attraction. The heritage listed building also served as an internment camp a barracks during WW2. Tours of the prison are available.

Gladstone is also home of the last family owned soft drink manufacturer in South Australia. Trend Drinks has been in business falmost 100 years now operate as boutique manufacturer of unique soft drinks sold both in Australia overseas. The factory is open to visitors ftasting product sales.

Drop into the Southern Flinders Discovery Centre learn more about this fascinating region. The Centre can provide information about the Southern Flinders Ranges, accommodation tours, brochures, town tour bookings local arts, crafts foods. If you would like to cycle around the town district, mountain bikes are available fhire at the Gladstone Caravan Park.

Visitors interested in walking on the Heysen trail cycling the Mawson trail find Gladstone a convenient base which to proceed.
